A Mother’s Day Gift Guide

So Mother’s Day is on the 31st March which means we all have exactly two weeks to search for and decide what to get for our mums as a gift to show exactly how much we appreciate them, easier said than done!

I personally never know what to get for my mum, I mean I’d love to give her the world, but where do I buy that?

I’ve teamed up with Fragrance Direct to bring you my top picks for Mother’s Day gifts on their website, I’ve broken them down into three categories.

Perfume:

Mums generally have one perfume that they always buy for themselves so I always try to pick something that’s new for her to try.

I decided this year my top pick would be the new YSL Opium Intense. We both love the original and this is even more beautiful and long lasting, it has top notes of blue absinthe, boysenberry and anise. It’s the perfect evening fragrance!

The bottle is also as beautiful as the original so would look amazing as a dressing table item.

You can purchase this from Fragrance Direct for £67.95 using the link below:

Make up:

My mum doesn’t wear a huge amount of make up (I don’t know where my love of make up comes from) but she does tend to wear a little bit of eyeshadow and lipstick on special occasions, this is why I decided to pick the next two items.

Mac lipsticks are iconic and last amazingly plus have a huge range of shades to suit absolutely every skin tone. I decided to go for a pinky/ red as I feel that’s a sassy mum shade!

You can shop MAC lipsticks on Fragrance Directs website, they retail for £15.45 using the link below:

Daniel Sandler is definitely a brand I know some of my friends mums use, it’s slightly higher end but still affordable. I find my mum personally gravitates towards a silvery shade when she does wear eyeshadow so this quad below is perfect for her. There are also other shades available!

The formula of this quad is beautiful, it’s pigmented and I definitely didn’t see hardly any fall out which is great for someone who quickly wants to add a little pop of colour without it taking a long time!

This is also available on Fragrance Direct and retails for £22, link is below:

Skincare:

One thing I know my mum has been really looking into lately is good skincare, let’s be honest it’s something we all need to focus on but once we get to a certain age it’s more important than ever!

Mums often can’t afford to splash out on luxury skincare which is why this is something I like to get my mum for Mother’s Day.

I decided this Gatineau Nutriactive Mediation Rich Cream would be perfect, it’s quite a thick consistency which glides onto the skin and deeply moisturises and soothe your skin.

This is hugely discounted on Fragrance Direct compared to other stockists as it is only £21.99 instead of £59.90.

The link to shop this is below:

So that brings me to the end of my Mothers Day gift ideas with Fragrance Direct, these are just a few of my ideas but there are so many more available!

I hope if you didn’t have any gift ideas this has helped you?

If you did what are you planning to gift your lovely mums?

Too all of you who are mums too I hope you have an amazing day!

Let’s celebrate one of the most special people in our lives, our mothers!
